Leaving the metrópolis five to six years ago, writing from a laid back tier 2 town. I never thought I could be doing this, but it had to happen. Cozied up under blankets on not so cold autumn/fall night, along with my kids. I wanted to see the world, explore the unknown, visit places And then i realised, There's a world within. 🌎  A whole big unexplored world. And after about 15 years of starting to blog intermittently, now through this blog, I shall the readers onto a journey. A journey that relates the outside to inside, a journey of whole world which lives in us. I've been learning spanish, so would try to rewrite this in español too.  Let's go! A world where everything is possible.

The electricity and the City

A decade ago, a corporate employee, marching up the ladder. Confident and gaining experience,  from AC car to AC office and never thought about that. No kids, life was all about doing well at work, and living a peaceful life. Now, lying awake in a small town at mid night as the voltage is too low to run the AC. I think.. No fancy corporate life, working towards building a school in a rural village, where there is no electricity most of the day, if at all the fans don't run well on low voltage.  Back and forth travel of about 50 kms in a 7 seater car but sans the AC. With 2 children of my own and 135 children in my school, I spend time with them and try by best to put my life's learning of 40 years to optimum use. I can't even imagine now what it was like to live in Gurugram, watch movies every weekend, meet my parents whenever I pleased.  Now I feel the city life was like living in a bubble, nothing was real, it was a wishful life. It was virtual reality. I never wa...

Adhrit's experience with village life!

Adhrit is just back from a short trip to hometown in interiors of his paternal village. It was Adhrit's first adventure of sleeping on terrace in summers! After a 1.5 hour flight and 4 hour road journey we had reached home to find there's  no electricity and family was sleeping on terrace. We all were excited to join them and our long separated pets..Pluto and Marcei, their affection would suffice to refresh us! "D'Arcy wants to sleep on his bed", my son Adhrit cried and I was afraid he will wake up everyone enjoying their sleep at 1 am, and I was feeling worried how he would take this experience ahead. Just to distract him, I said see there's lot of wind here, it's cool. He was intrigued. He walked up to his dadi and enquired "where is this wind coming from, there's no AC or Fan here. Just to satisfy his innocent desire, she replied it's coming from moon! He found it interesting, asked "but moon is not moving" (like the bla...

A fresh lease

A little bit of everyone survives in us, our ancestors, our parents, or friends, relations close to us, our spouse, our kids, our pets.. life is connected. We have different personalities but in this busy world we often do not look at the world from 'what we are', but we look at it from the perspective of 'how we ought to'. For e.g. I am a carefree person, who does not feel bothered about what anyone says, but I am careful, because for being part of a society which gives you so much (from pieces of pie to pieces of mind) we tend to cooperate, adjust and become someone we are not. And it continues, and we evolve like this, some early, some later, some never, it does not matter to anyone but just to yourself. How we perceive the world depends upon what part of everyone is surviving and of all thats happening around you what part of it you attribute to whom? Its difficult? No, you don't have to do that exercise. You just have to be. Be yourself. Most importantl...
