When boss leaves

hmmm So T has resigned..  I get sometime stuck, coz i am not able to believe that she is not there I still hunt for her messages in the inbox Anyway..life moves... hope this was a wise decision for her career only the time will tell how wise was it. 2 days of walk in's at xx, xx.. but no benefit 7 candidates shortlisted for CCE, it good new even if we still need to work hard for 6 more vacancies 8 shortlisted candidates had to go back to Lucknow coz nobody from the client side could respond to mails or messages regarding recruitment, few of them managed to crack interview so now I guess its time to sort resumes

yesterday began with another news

sometimes life just plays and we watch by we offered 5 candidates to join and 2 accepted the offer. T will resign on 25th ! would miss her. she has been very supportive, and she's good. dynamic. I hope she progresses in her career wherever she moves!

One day's leave does wonders!

I had to call off from work for one day- Saturday. I was tired to attritions.to speaking and speaking and speaking.. grievances.. uff being an HR ! Good news as I am back on Monday. Long time school friend K, passed her resume to me looking for relocation to Delhi. WOW! Warm welcome K!! A small chat with V, Will see if his profile works as well. Good School leaders is all that I can say. Oh! the good old school days Miss them. Then, we are advertising in news paper for good team members with a walk in interview schedule as well. XX attrition R... selected at xx process!!!! Cool this was a long time position at AA. And R was definitely looking for change, was serving her notice term already.

I am Hiring again! : Back to recruitments...

Hmm T had come. The day had moved ultimately GM decided to ask the employee to leave without completing the NOTICE term! The approach to address issues is wrong. Will spread virus in team instead of solving their issues. So he's not there in office today. And wont be there now, its the second times he has done this. A hiring for the second time.. perhaps a wrong decision. Its a learning.. Have a hard time convincing the team that it was not because of the negative feedback he gave to management he was asked to leave but it was because his approach was all wrong it was not in a positive perspective to solve it. Rather just to point flaws with a determined negativity. Not a quality of a Team Lead. Anyone reading this, knows a deserving person. Let me know. I need a leader for my team. For my young vibrant and energetic team.!! That's for the day! Bye

Another resignation !

The days started off with another resignation! This call center is heading toward. Not heading at all. Its not moving, it is still, calm and most of them do not know about the resigning team leader, whos writen a lot of comments upon the mis - "management", in his resignation email. The catch is - it was his appraisal yesterday, taken in presence of the GM, and the GM had much thought and pointed out his " Areas of Improvement" in a detailed discussion. The GM was positive about his presence of mind and maturity. But... Good... a dissatisfied TL, and a mis managed team.. Leading to negetive quality reports. I need suggestions, I do not have power's I am an HR Exec. The only person from HR team at office, and I kep myself very approachable to the employees. But when they do not understand the objectives. I have to face it - That its a PHASE. Inlife of a call center. M waiting for Tanvi..My senior in the Group, who took my interview, Shes as HAR with Amadeus. Woul...

HR Blues.. when the work week starts with a resignation

In office Monday, the first thing I notice a staff wearing casual blue tank top...I ask her " Charu (name changed)... Why are you in casual??" She replies.. "Mam, coz m resigning today".. Wow ! that's seems to be the most amazing welcome for an HR Executive!!! Does not it? I again request her, resigning today does not permit you to wear casuals..., she says at least the trouser is formal?? And many like Charu have problems that we treat them like Kids... Handling a BPO HR is NOT FUN. We are forced to take in young staff with little immature fantasies, we have to make them feel good and happy about their job, listen to their requests and then, if they leave the organization on pretexts of being treated like children. We have to give explanations for attrition! On top of it we have absolutely no support from any external medium to replace or re - hire!! Live swings, this is case of a Monday.. I remember past Saturday before leaving for home, Gunjan (name...
